Pucallpa in short

In the middle of the Amazonian jungle, Pucallpa is the capital of the Ucayali department and it has more than 200.000 citizens. This city is always growing. One of its benefits is that it has a direct road to Lima and a port as large as the Ucayali River where the boats can transport you until Iquitos.

In the same city you will also find a museum of chipibos ceramics and also a natural reserve full of wild animals of the jungle. The Usco Ayar´s gallery is important because he use only natural inks, furthermore, Agustin Ravin who works with wood is also famous by the work he has done in the halls of the most important hotels in Pucallpa. Those halls are in exhibition everyday.

The Yarinacocha Lake and its Chipibo cities are the most beautiful attractions in this city.
